  • the perfect place to be after shopping in Graz, to have a coffee, brunch, or a drink with the most wonedrful view! Be sure to visit!  more »
  • I was more than 60 years ago for the first time with my mother at the "Kastner & Öhler" shop. This parade shopping Temple in Graz is now so worth a visit as it was then. It is still an experience to stroll through the architecturally venerable building. An attraction in Graz to visit, when visiting this beautiful city.

  • Nice department store, but that was not what we went there for. On the top floor is a rooftop lounge. We had drinks with some friends and took in the view of the city. There is even a platform that yo...  more »

  • Excellent selection but horrendously overpriced. Like with K&Ö clothing, what most people seem to do is use it as place to try things on/out, and then look up the exact model online and buy it from somewhere else. In that sense, it's a wonderful free service to use, but I can't believe people would actually hand over money for anything in that place. Also, K&Ö promised the city of Graz it would put a bronze roof on when it renovated, so as not to ruin the view from the Schlossberg - seven years on and it still hasn't done it. Scum.
  • Great service and a sophisticated atmosphere. Be prepared for high prices though.
  • Friendly and helpful staff. For better or worse they try to speak English (depends on who finds), but always willing to help and find what you are looking for. Also, it's a great pit stop for mothers who must change, nurse or warm up baby bottles and baby food for their children. The bathrooms and rooms dedicated to mothers and young children are always spotless. The rooftop terrace is something special, especially on sunny spring days. high prices.

  • Especially in the traditional costume Department, I was really excited by the excellent advice! A big thank you to the Lady, she was really super helpful!

  • Successful and relaxed shopping trip (Sept 2016) actually wanted to use I just the customer toilet (on each floor free of charge available, clean, well signposted), then briefly on the roof terrace with views over the rooftops of Graz and then once by the store stripes. Once fairly full terrace madly around, found a shady spot, large moulded blackcurrant juice to EUR 4.50 (0, 5 l) and patatas bravas with quail fried egg and aioli EUR 5.00 ordered. Here can stand and watch people. Geshoppt then through the store, autumn and winter clothes and anything for the one year mini. In the champagne bar, a coffee drink - seen here interesting people :) - and already a half day in the fly was around. The brand selection is good and all price segments (except maybe mega-luxury) are covered. Sellers consistently helpful and friendly. I like no "advice" when purchasing a thing else, but here it was really helpful. And ask for your size, if it does not hang. I had 3 x (!). Good luck and it was still in stock. May be that I've just caught a good day out but I would at any time purchase today at K & Ö. You have an online shop, by the way also :)

Where to stay in Graz

Austria’s second-largest city offers a large selection of accommodation options for every type of traveler. Outside of the city’s core in the Lend district are more affordable lodgings. Roughly a ten-minute walk to the Altstadt, this area provides an economical alternative while still keeping you close to the attractions. If you’re willing to compromise on privacy, the best prices are in private accommodations in local homes. Often this means sharing a bathroom with other guests and occasionally even the homeowners.
