  • Unfortunately, has nothing to do with fairy tale the fairy train, but is an art / light installation in at every stop light effects or metal shapes can be seen. There are practical no classic fairy tale scenes or figures, no dwarves, no romantic, dreamy scenes. Too modern, too abstract. Too bad but definitely not a visit worth. Please first go who want to save disappointment, if the operator has once again rethought its "arts project" and rebuilt.

  • During my visit to Graz, I was glad to hear that the story line was opened again. As Guy mid-30s I'm not the target group externally, but times one must also once again let the child. So: Ceiling like a pensioner over the legs ticket purchased, set (it's cold in the tunnel!) and off goes the train. What I could see, has amazed me in the good and in the bad. (1) the presentation of the fairy tale is very modern, very abstract. Cut scenes from metal, light effects, even video projection is used! (2) it is animated by the driver to "Join": to provide the storyteller stops and you can shine from the metal scenes with a flashlight and eventually encounters a light sensor, which then brings the scenery completely lights up and continues the tale. Quite nice, but also more "Random", whether one because what meets or not. (3) you need have good knowledge of individual tales, otherwise it does not recognize the abstract visualized and shown only in short quotations, fairy tale. One by rattles in the 40 minutes after all 8 to 10 Tales (am not sure what because everything is counted). Deducting the travel time and breaks due to the "light games" remain perhaps not 90 seconds per fairy tale... All in all I'm zwiegespalten: on the one hand, some installations, show that an abstract/reduced representation of a tale is possible and stimulate the imagination. On the other hand was giving away lots of potential as it hurtles in the "pig Gallop" by a variety of fairy pieces. So, dear Märchenbahner: take out the speed - reduced the number of fairy tales.

  • I knew the old fairy tale line and am aghast today as you can so disfigure a fairy tale alley. It is absolutely no longer suitable for children. Pity, because anyway else also so little for children is available. Modern is well and good, but I don't really like that even as an adult. I wonder who makes such decisions in Graz, to make such formerly nice things so evil and ugly. What a pity!!!
