  • Simply stunning picturesque route! You can limit a small walk to the waterfall, but you can wander around the whole day, then see a mountain river, waterfalls, cliffs, valleys, small villages, backwaters and mountains with peaks in the snow. On the way back you can take a bus, but I'd recommended just go the other route.

  • The tscheppa Gorge not for nothing is considered one of the natural jewels Carinthia. However you should have most definitely footwear and also a certain Surefootedness. Some places quite match A climbing category. Because the levels are very uneven and in some places even slightly higher, dogs and small children only with adequate performance and backup should be used. But it is pointed out in advance on the home page and again at the entrance BEFORE of checkout. Speaking of cash: the ticket price may seem high, but when you consider that the tscheppa Gorge alone this summer by Murrenabgänge was several times impassable and cleared a few days back and was accessible, which relativizes itself. Not to mention the re-establishment after the winter. There's just not free safe routes and trails. Oh and she is ever included in the KärntenCard. We ourselves have gone the way to the waterfall, and then down through the Loibltal to the "German Peter" with our hiking experienced daughters aged 4 & 6 years.

  • For hikers ideally, definitely you should create footwear, because the paths can be quite slippery. You can see some of the Gorge and there are other activities that you can perform for example climbing and canyoning.

Overall it is suitable so a very nice Ausflugsziel.Es but not so good for dogs because there are large steps. To footwear is recommended.
