  • We ran the route from feet towards the source. Since we had no card, we have rely 100% on the signs. Initially, we often had the problem, that we were the much better signposted Lech-Radweg, which did not detract from here to see nature, but forced us over several kilometres of paved roads. We have then to us in the course of the way the service booklet of the Lech trail and a map. With these tools, the orientation was no longer a problem, even though the directions here took place in the opposite direction (from the source to the mouth). In some passages we were glad to have had walking sticks in there's short alpine road sections (up/down steep and Rocky) is. We had set our stages with routes between 8 and 26 km and booked all nights in advance via the Internet. That would have been but not necessarily required as there were enough free accommodation in all locations (except in feet). In the mentioned service booklet advance send to is by the way, also free of charge by the Tourism Association can be, the entire way in 15 sections is very well described. The specified path profile allows reliable inference on the expected "hardships" and show that a large part of the trail is rather flat. Footwear is important, because the route runs on a predominantly Rocky and ballast-like base. Conclusion: Those who want to explore the mountains also left & right of way, should plan for 2 weeks and take 1 day "break" in some places.

  • Beautiful hiking trail through the entire Lechtal! The whole Lechweg is a multiple-day walking tour, but you can also just pieces of do! After each stage you will stay in a B&B of your choice, your baggage will be brought up there!

  • Very nice hike, in 6 stages have to be somewhat proficient hikers. Very well signposted, I had pre-booked accommodation, that is not necessary. It had free accommodation anywhere yet. The Lech active card is also great, free bus, railways etc. walked the entire way on foot and had the baggage on the back. Except for 1 stage (Stanzach after farms) I found all beautiful. This path can be also well alone as a woman. The entire 6 days had great weather, some way would be sure not so easy in the rain. But is also bad weather stages in the book "The way of the Lech". I think class.
