  • AT the beginning of the famous Valley of the Helene the ruins of Rau marriage stone and rough corner tower on both sides. Rabenstein is several ways to reach one, the most comfortable leads over the Baden Resort Park. A kürzereren but steeper climb to reach the Castle also from the Machetstraße out. For children, the ruins is a popular place to play, but not younger children under 6 years of age should be unsupervised, they could topple over some larger stones

  • In the 12 century by the Tursen inhabited castle with 20 m built, mostly by robber barons high tower in the Helenental Valley. The 'roof tax' in the 18th century brought the final decline. The starting point is Rauhensteingasse/Helene Church across the street from the hotel Sacher. Parking can be found here, there is also a bus stop in the Helene Street. Although it goes steeply uphill, you just need 10 minutes up to the castle on the shady forest. Enter at your own risk, pay attention to their children! The courtyards are overgrown with trees, it is cool even in the height of summer. The view ranges from the city prior to the beginning of the Helene Valley, also the Castle rough corner on the opposite side of the Valley is good to see. The rise is part of the Beethoven hiking trail. From here, you can walk among them to the spa park, in the middle of nowhere, Siegenfeld and to the castle of rough corner.
