  • To experience such "Salzwelten" is difficult to describe, especially since it is yes a real mine. Unbeatable is the "light show" can be observed in the underground Salszsee, where one "blanket that reflecting".

  • It's a salt mine - pretty cool I guess. I was more interested in the hot tour guide, but hey, that's just me.  more »
  • Salt Lake, which is touted as the highlight of the visit was not be view bar (no info at checkout). €16,00 per adult, absolute rip off. The slide in the mine, an absolute joke.

  • The saltmine was very interesting. I was the only non German person on the tour of 20 people, so I got a free audio guide. The guide paid attention to me, asking if I had any questions throughout. I can definitely recommend paying a visit if you're in the area. The price was 15 euros for students. It might not be worth it if you have claustrophobia, as the path gets a bit tight in some places (appr. 2x1m). Remember to bring warm clothes, the mine inside is about 7 degrees Celsius inside The place isn't very picturesque, so don't bother bringing a large camera. Overall I give thisplace 5 stars
  • The 'little brother' of the three mines. Very nice history telling and a good guide, who only speaks German by the way! The tour starts every hour. The tour starts and ends with a walk of 700 mtr into the mountain, so good foodwear is a must! We loved it here, the mine is very genuine and gives you the feeling of being a miner off to work. Definitely a visit to remember!
  • Interesting tour into the past, but with little bit few information about WW2 time. All in all, worth to visit.
  • The Altaussee salt worlds are obviously fundamentally, however, there were unfortunately unpleasant surprises during our visit. First, is the film showing poorly translated, a joke and insulting for those who speak both languages. A condemnation of the operator, that however without previous information the Salt Lake not could be visited very upset us, because this was the highlight of what we wanted to see. This was first announced during the tour in the mine. A prior information notice or perhaps a price reduction would have voted us conciliatory. The media presentation in the Interior comes close to an art installation and has not taken our taste.

  • Informative guide of almost 2 hours duration in the Interior of the Sandling mountain. Because of the narrow tunnel corridors certainly not for everyone. The two slides are fun and exciting, which moved past the salt mine.
