  • Loved this place, such an surreal tree-formation, absolutely worth the visit! It really reminded me on the Tree of Souls from the Avatar Movie.
  • I've been here before 10 years previously, and a lot of work has been done on decking and walkways to facilitate visitors and protect the environment....well done. The tree itself is easily accessible...  more »
  • Stopped in to have a look at the fig. It is a great tree, but we were a bit disappointed in the lack of information about is such as age. There was information about animals that use the tree, but not...  more »
  • These photos are NOT the Cathedral Fig Tree, tourists have them mixed up with the Curtain Fig Tree, which is a different tree in a completely different location as well.. The Cathedral Fig Tree is more impressive than the Curtain Fig Tree, it's younger and not dying and falling apart, as is the Curtain nowadays, which has had much chopped off it; and you won't get a ginormous bus load of tourists pull up at the Cathedral, as you will every 20 mins at the Curtain Fig Tree because it's easier to access and en-route to their All In A Day Tours like Milla Milla Falls,.. The Cathedral gets much less traffic and is much more quite. But the pictures on this link are wrong.
  • One of the more spectacular trees on the tablelands, well worth a stop, good all weather road to car park.
  • Pretty fascinating ancient tree! Part of the whole circuit of waterfalls and lakes! All beautiful
  • Amazing scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Great place to go for a venture and escape the heat.
  • A tree you have to visit! it's worth it.
