Ngilgi Cave, Yallingup
(4.6/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
At Ngilgi Cave, walk along the well-lit, steep and narrow boardwalks into the hot and humid chamber of this 500,000-year-old cave. The cave has a rich history related to the Aboriginal people who had lived there. As you descend 45 m (147 ft) below Earth's surface, be sure to stop and study the stalactites, stalagmites, and crystal formations on the way to the cave. Formations include Two Tonne Stalactite, the white Mother of Pearl Shawl, and the beautiful Arab's Tent Shawl. Observe the theater chamber with its superb acoustics: No wonder it has hosted numerous musical performances. More adventurous caving options and tours are available for cave aficionados. • We had a great time visiting this cave, took us about 40 mins to tour it. Not too many steps. Really nice cave.

  • Followed the road signs to this attraction. Cave is definitely worth a visit - amazing to see and a bit of fun to. The guides are good - and the "kids" tunnel is worth a shot too unless you are on the...  more »

  • Hang around the staff. They are full of interesting info. The cave is very pretty. Took about an hour to walk around. Very calming :)
  • Amazing semi-guided tour through the cave. Fun finding your own way around at own pace, after the entry. Make sure you lay down once you get to the bottom. Feel the roof moving closer.
  • Fun and exciting. Lots of stairs and low over hangs. The staff is great and very informative and great with kids. Everyone enjoyed themselves and would recommend to everyone.
  • Breathtaking place. Go early as it's alot quieter and makes it more magical. Great family experience
  • This was our third cave visit. You get a semi guided tour and then you get to explore on your own. Unlike the other caves you do not need a sweater. Its a bid humid inside.
