  • The food at the resturant was pretty good. It's 60 bucks for a two course meal and 70 bucks for a three course meal. You can't exactly order just one item off the menu ala carte. Some reviews below me...  more »
  • Not sure what this place is intending to be... is it a winery, is it a french homewares shop or is it a car gallery!! We were left confused, greeted very warmly by a Scottish lady, we looked around th...  more »

  • We found Aravina Estate Winery to have a wonderful restaurant for those seeking a leisurely lunch while visiting the South-West wine region. Apart from the outstanding food, the setting is also lovely, the waiter was knowledgeable, and the kids play area was a bonus. My vegetarian wife thought it was the best gnocchi dish she's ever had - even better than the gnocchi she recently had at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Hong Kong. Compliments to the Chef. The rest of the meatatarians at the table were also completely satisfied by the delicious and generous sized meals. The pimped up kids menu had a few options (great that it wasn't just nuggets and chips), but might test some toddlers taste buds (our 3.5 yr old loved the vegetable and noddle spring rolls, but found the Asian slaw a bit much). An extremely enjoyable lunch!
  • Classic car garage with a beautiful collection of cars and motoring memorabilia. An amazing feeling to be allowed to share in such a place. Good work Aravina Estate. Kind regards from Matt
  • Spectacular food, spectacular views, lackluster service. Highlighted by its picturesque surroundings, an on premises kitchen garden, and a menu that does nothing but highlight the regions finest offerings we were confident that we were about to experience a meal worthy of all the glowing recommendations that preceded our visit. Aravina Vineyard Restaurant on most fronts delivered in spades, the menu items and their pairings were well thought out, our meals were flavorsome and the portion sizes were acceptable. The major letdown came during the serving of our entrees when we collectively realized that one of our dishes was missing a minor ingredient and our waiter (who perhaps was either a little too keen to please or has not been briefed on basic food hygiene) did something that astounded us… He picked up items from one plate and proceeded to plate it onto the other in order to even them up. As the item in question was nothing more than a side item we put it aside and continued with our meal. This action did however set the tone for the rest of the afternoon as we experienced lengthy delays with the serving of our main and dessert courses whilst other tables were being seated, enjoying their meals, and leaving. I will come here again based on the efforts that the chef has obviously gone to to highlight local produce but I honestly hope that the service is better next time round.
  • Always make time to visit and taste wines here. The shop and car display just add that extra twinkle to a stunning location.
  • Great food and wine. Very friendly service. A very relaxed atmosphere. Absolutely loved everything.
