  • A wonderful visit. So amazing to see the sacrifices made to keep the united society of Wonthaggi viable. Thank you, Scott, for your very helpful advice and assistance. The thought, work and artistic talent that has gone into this endeavour is beyond words. A great job done by an obviously dedicated team. Thank you.
  • Wonderful experience. Must visit👍 Excellent guide who told us a lot about the place. The tour went for about 1 and half hour. Itcwas very knowledgeable. They also have fun shooting games on the weekends, in these coal mines. It's amazing.
  • My kids enjoyed the weekend at the coal mine. Volunteers were knowledgeable. Making it interesting not only for kids but we adult find it really educational too.
  • Interesting place to go. Volunteers have a lot of knowledge to give. Free to enter but definitely worth paying for the underground mine tour.
  • Well set-up, really educational and informative and very reasonably priced. Great place to have a bite when you are finished site-seeing and recommend doing the underground tour. Great BBQ facilities - amazed this place is not on the Victorian tourist destination as this is part of the Australian history.
