In the 1890s, the Bunuba man Jandamarra, a former stockman, led an armed insurrection. In late 1894, a posse of 30 or so heavily armed police and settlers attacked Jandamarra and his followers in Windjana Gorge. • Entry fee ($ 13 for a car) I'm not too much for paying a natural place! (There is nothing to 'maintain') There is a campsite at the entrance, also $ 13 per person! A wonderful place between two cliff... The location is superb to see lush! Snakes, crocodile, birds, walabi... If you are a little adventurous, a place 2km after the entrance you would easily climb the wall of a cliff without too much difficulty and have a splendid view! It is an activity known enough of the gibb River, it goes without saying that I Board to make!
