  • Situated at the end of a long gravel driveway near Winchelsea sits Barwon Park. I've visited the mansion several times over the years and each time l visit its an enjoyable journey. Built from bluesto...  more »
  • Barwon Grange is very historical and you must take a tour to fully appreciate its importance. Apart from that the gardens and building are authentic, if a little too hot in summer to fully enjoy.  more »
  • I had been to the Dressmaker exhibit & loved it. I thought this would be along the same lines. Unfortunately it wasn't. It was so dark in the rooms you could barely make out the gowns & it didn't help...  more »

  • 16 / 02 / 2013 The day my wife and I exchanged or wedding vows atop that iconic staircase. A day, a time, and location etched into our hearts forever. You call almost see, feel, and hear the history emanating from the walls of this magnificent home.
  • Location is amazing, I went there on April for the holi festival and the space was awesome
  • I was the very first bride to be married here, October 7th, 1974 the marriage took place ( by celebrant Eva Death :-/), at the foot of the staircase, as I descended in my beautiful gown made by my mother Amy Jean Campbell (nee Bennett) and long train & veil, the reception dinner was held in the grand dining room to the left of the entrance then the wedding reception dance was held in the grand room to right of the entrance. The groom and groomsmen dressed in the top left of upstairs bedroom and the bride and bridal party in the top right rooms. Above those rooms. My sister Kathy married there also, some years later, and Many weddings were to follow after mine.
  • Beautiful old place
