  • If you're visiting the King Valley it is well worth the drive to Powers Lookout. The view is truly wonderful. We brought a picnic with us and relaxed after the walk to the lookout.  more »
  • A short drive from Whitfield, just follow the signs. It is worth taking the stairs to the second lookout for spectacular views.  more »

  • Awesome lookout, which has some interesting history about Harry Power and links to the Kelly gang. Great spot for a stopover. Shelter area with a open fire place, drop toilets and tank water.
  • Not a very popular spot, it was pretty empty when I was there but the view of the valley is superb!! You get the option to either just see the views on the platform near the carpark, or you can do the longer walk through rock formations (cliffs are well fenced off, well maintained track, it's fine to bring your kids along) to another viewing platform which has a broader view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend!
  • A great spot to stopover on your way to Whitfield, a nice walk out over the rocks to see some great views.
  • Great views. Interesting trek to the viewing platform. Nice 1hr drive up from Mansfield too.
  • Great lookout! You can practically see the whole panoramic view of the area!
