  • We have been here a few times. Even though I find the entrance fee quite pricey, I still come back here because there are lots of animals and a nice place to feed the kangaroos.  more »
  • I visited this place last December and it was amazing. Unlike a typical zoo in which animals are kept in their enclosure, most of the tame animals like birds or peacocks are allowed to roam freely. No...  more »

  • Caversham Wildlife Park was definitely a place to go. We went to Perth purposely to bring our daughter to Caversham. We enjoyed the farm show and luckily my daughter was chosen with four other kids to feed the baby sheep. The experience really made her day. We also fed the kangaroos and observed some of the unique animals at close range. Most staff/keeper were really helpful answering any questions about the animals. All in all, we loved it and will return.
  • Plenty of shade out of the sun very green. Not much in the way of food options but most families bring picnics. Still locally owned so your supporting local business. 36 acres to explore. Feeding the kangaroos was a highlight. Pro tip from park attendant; take the food up the back of the kangaroo enclosure as they get fed less and will be more eager to feed from your hand. Pricing is geared for tourism and arguably on the high side for what it is but the grounds, animals and park generally is well maintained and kept.
  • Had 2 hours of fun. Not a big area. Was hoping to carry the koala but unfortunately we could only touch the lower back of the koala. There's a nice show of sheep shearing and love the cow milking session. Plus there's a decent area where you get to see kangaroos and feed them as much as they can eat.
  • Great place for fun for the whole family. Can get up close and personal with the animals, wild and domesticated. Good learning experience for kids about farming and endangered species in Australia during shows. Show schedules are listed on the map that given on the entrance. Good souvenirs shop.
  • Great experience for the kids, staff very friendly and helpful, animals cared for. We went back a second time just recently and it was still really good, in fact we got back lucky with our timing as there were lots of little Joey's in their pouches. The restaurant is very basic, I really think they are missing an opportunity to get more business if they provided a proper menu and dining. That said, there's also picnic facilities.
