  • Went here with overseas family to see the falls and also because there are always wallabies in the area of the parking. It is a short (300) metres nice stroll to have a view at where the fall comes do...  more »
  • This area of Serpentine is a nice spot for that one day picnic and swim. As it is in a national park camping is not allowed and there is a parking fee. The water can be cold but good in the middle of ...  more »
  • I visited at a time when there was not much rain and so the falls were not working at full capacity when they are probably quite spectacular. I was there in the morning having headed advice that by 11...  more »

  • "Serpentine Falls & Surrounding Walk Trails" Beautiful natural spot close to Perth. Great range of walks available, small swimming hole, good facilities, clean toilets, efficient BBQ's...of course this is what you are paying for with the small entrance gate fee. Great place to bring family and kids to get them off their 'electronic addictions' and into the wild natural outdoors. The surrounding walks are quite breathtaking and there is many tracks for hiking and getting lost along. However, we would HIGHLY recommend that you only do the walk trails in Winter/Spring. The weather in relentless in Summer/Autumn as it gets really, really, really HOT in this place, often with no breeze to cool you on the walks. Otherwise, a fantastic little spot for a walk and a dip (if it's not too crowded)! by Andrew & Jenny
  • Don't go if it's out of your way, because the fall itself is a let down. However, we did do the Baldwin bluff track (not a loop). Legged it in 1.5 hrs because gates are closed at 4.45pm, but we still managed to get to see the view from the end of the track. We were lucky to see a small mob of kangaroos skipping past below as soon as we got to the top. Great place to meet the roos in the "wild".
  • Great waterfalls and pools. You can take a long hike or just relax along the river. BBQ facilities and toilets available. Awesome spot for nice day in spring when the pools are full of water.
  • Came on a long drive here on a hot summer monday for a swim, only to be told right at the entrance it was shut because there was enough people swimming there already. :c
  • The serpentine fall looks stunning, I would recommend everyone to go there, it only takes approx 1h from perth
