  • The tranquility is what you would expect. Beautiful grounds. My own luck coming to visit when it’s off season. I can imagine what it must be like when the Roses and Tulips are in full bloom. I’ll definitely recommend this a venue for a day out. 5 stars from me.
  • Good Points are that the garden is absolutely beautiful. You have a lot to see and you can walk nice ways through the park. There are signs and cards on the way so you can read some facts about the flowers and Finde them with the maps. There are public toilets and barbecues. Bad thing is the price of 6$ per person. There are so many beautiful parks which you can visit for free so you don't need to see this one. and the price is always the same even when you just have an hour left to visit it.
  • Want a break from the hustle and bustle. Drop in, walk around and admire this great park. A real testimony to what can be achieved with lots of love and hard work. Beautiful, peaceful and refreshing. Well worth the Annual membership each year. Especially beautiful in early spring with all the Tulips emerging.
  • Went there Sat 10th March. Previous day high winds had resulted in power failure which meant cafe could only supply tea and limited range of cakes. Hard to believe but some patrons get annoyed the power was off and take their frustrations out on cafe staff! I personally found the two ladies on duty very friendly and helpful. .... hardly their fault! Araluen is well worth a visit with beautiful flowers and lovely walks. Sneakers recommended as its hilly
  • Always enjoyed going back to this botanical park. If it's peak season and school holidays you need to be early to get the best spot in the park. If you go mid day cars are all lined up getting inside the park. Entrance fee depends on the season. You can ride the mini train for a fee so you can see the whole park. The train driver also serves as the tour guide as you go around the area. Snacks and hot food is available or one can bring their own food or even do a barbie. Flower seeds are planted by volunteers.
