he first thing I'd like to point out is value for money, $41 and you get an entire day of awesome fun and education. I highly recommend going here, it brought out the child in all of us. There is plenty to do and it is by no means all about crocodiles, as the site has a whole bunch of other species to look at and learn about. There is an actual crocodile farm there which will probably upset some people, fair enough, but I have to applaud the way the staff went about addressing it. They will let you know that the tour of the farm is not for everybody and recommend that you don't attend if you feel as though it's not for you. Don't worry though, there's plenty of other things to see and do. If you do go, however, you will learn why these animals are farmed and how important crocodile farming is to the continued protection and survival of the species. Non-crocodile related things to do include a reptile exhibit, holding and getting photos with a koala and going into an enclosure with kangaroos and wallabies that are more than happy enough to be petted (if you have food). Things that stuck out for me we're definitely the crocodile attack show, which was incredible, as well as the snake show that's run by a guy named Matt, I think. The food from the cafe was also awesome and not too expensive. It's very comfortable and completely shaded. I'd recommend Hartley's to anyone, it's a great day our and isn't expensive.
It is an awesome crocodile farm that is full of thrilling experiences and adventures with crocodiles, snakes and other lovely creatures. An amazing and incredible experience. The facility is very well-maintained and looked after. The guides are highly experienced and professional. It is a full day activity for the kids and family that provides lot of information about these lovely wild creatures. It is not that costly and is worth every penny spend. It is a must for the tourists to this region. The farm is very well connected by public transport from Cairns and easy to reach by car.
Brilliant Crocodile park. You can see so many different animals, the ticket price is great value. Lots of photo ops. Good food also available. The tour of the lagoon is entertaining and educational and our tour guide was very funny. Great fun atmosphere, great service, and great day out with or without kids.
So many crocodile enclosures so you get plenty of opportunities to see crocodiles without worrying about crowds. The staff are well educated in the animals and the park itself. Feeding time for the crocs was very entertaining as the host put in plenty of humour. I went on a boat tour to see crocodiles jump out of the water and everyone on the boat got a perfect view. There is also other animals to see such as alligators! Would definitely recommend!
Wow what an amazing educational fun place to visit while in Cairns. You get to feed Cassowaries and fresh water crocs. The boat ride is worth the dollars. There's plenty of bathrooms around the park. The gift shop had many great souvenirs to buy. Lots of animals to see. I highly recommend this amazing place!
