Pfeiffer Wines is a passionate, father and daughter winemaking family from historic Rutherglen, one of Australia’s oldest wine regions.

The winery produces a diverse range of premium award-winning wines that have won over 30 trophies and more than 400 medals.

The winery has twice been a finalist for the Best Export Wine in Australia awards and has been a James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 5 Star winery for seven consecutive years.

The historic cellars and century-old timber bridge are situated in a tranquil, natural setting on the banks of Sunday Creek – an anabranch of the Murray River.

Pfeiffer Wines produce premium, handcrafted wines of elegance - crisp whites, full-bodied reds and the internationally extolled Muscats and Topaques; luscious, intense fortified wines which are the heritage of the Australian Wine Industry.

  • Beautiful location with a cellar door that was incredibly friendly and informative. A treat for those experienced or new to wine tasting. A large selection of wines with information given about taste, region and the purpose of the wine makers. We were served by Kate who was so friendly and welcoming we hardly wanted to leave! Before our departure we had a small picnic on the tables provided either under the shade of the trees or the sun. A perfect pause before getting in the car if your wine intake had been a little high.
  • No better pflace to sit in the sun and soak it all in a glass of gorgious wine while the kids are having as much pfun as the grown ups. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff making a very fine drop. What a gem!
  • Fun, fresh and full of wildlife! Saw my first Blue Kingfisher today! 😀
  • Love the staff, wine makers, the picturesque location, delicious wines - It's always on my list when organising the winery walkabout or simply visiting the Rutherglen wine region!
  • We had an excellent tasting with Kate who knows her wine, is passionate about the region and delivered great customer service. The wines are amazing too!
