A narrow, steep, and achingly picturesque canyon winding its way through an expanse of Tasmania’s spectacular forested hills, Leven Canyon runs from the limestone Loongana Range all the way down to the Bass Strait. A viewing platform located a short walk from the public road offers panoramic views of the canyon, while a number of trails also traverse the immediate environs. Put Leven Canyon on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Ulverstone travel itinerary maker.

  • Walk in the forest, watching the scenery, it was fun walking course. I Cruickshank Lookout Walk for the round trip takes about 20 minutes, I went to the viewing platform overlooking the Valley from the top, but nice views!
