  • My favourite cinema. Very comfortable. I like how they show only a couple of brief trailers for upcoming films before getting into the feature film. Not like other places where you endure endless commercials first .
  • I LOVE Warrina cinema but I do agree that some of the staff could be a lot more pleasant. Great movie choices and tickets are fairly priced. Popcorn is not over salted and morning tea movies on Tuesdays and Thursdays are brilliant. It does state outside that there is a dress code and, after having been in some of Townsville's other cinemas that STINK of B.O., I can fully understand why. Don't try to sneak in food, bring cash, and don't wear singlets or thongs. If you don't want to abide by their rules, go to another movie theatre. Easy.
  • It's a unique cinema with its own style and way of running things. The movies shown are usually different to the modern cinemas, and that makes it worth coming to. The service is generally friendly, but there is no eftpos, so it's a little inconvenient as you need to use their atm machines or bring cash. The other thing are the stiff seats. They are not really comfortable to sit long hours in as you watch the movie. However, due to lack of profits or higher management...there's probably not going to be any renovations anytime soon. Still, it's a cosy, vintage sort of place worth the visit. :)
  • More roomy and comfortable than most. Cheaper than other cinemas. Also love supporting locals rather than corporations.
