This is a really good Aquarium, not the biggest but has lots of interactive displays and very friendly staff, the Turtle Talk and seeing the turtle hospital was a highlight, really good for families.  more »

The Aquarium displays all fish and other creatures that live in the great barrier reef. It is very interesting especially when not diving. How to behave the animal world and which animals are poisonous's attention one. It has given us a good insight on the underwater world at the reef.

Fascinating, fun, interactive and educational. A great place for kids and adults. Plenty of tours, all included in the cost. A little people's play zone. Lots of things to look at and learn about. Well worth the entrance fee.

An up-close and personal experience with the marine habitat(s) of Far North Queensland. Beautiful presentation, vast array of species and highly educational. Well done guys!

It was okay. The interactive screens around the place weren't working. Which was disappointing because it was almost everyone I passed. The kids play area up top was a great idea however there was no aircon so it was stuffy and smelt like bo. I found it very hard walking through the place I have two little one's so I use a double pram and it wasn't easy navigating. Especially with others. No signage so we back tracked a couple of times. All in all we had a nice time and my two little one's did have a blast! I felt it was overpriced. However they do run a hospital there so that makes it seem worth the cost.

A good quality establishment working for a great cause. All of the staff are friendly and the majority volunteer their time. There are lots of opportunities to learn about and experience the reef. The shows and talks are good. The cafe is quite good and offers discount if you have annual membership. We purchased a family annual pass as the kids enjoy it and the value is there.
