Cobb+Co Museum, Toowoomba

(4.5/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web)
See Australia’s finest collection of horse-drawn vehicles at Cobb+Co Museum, housing over 50 drays, sulkies, buggies, and farm wagons that tell the story of European settlement in this part of the country. Displays of elaborate Phaeton, Victoria, and Landau carriages give a glimpse of a slower-paced life. Don’t miss the exhibit of the original Cobb and Co coaches, including the last coach that ran from Yuleba to Surat in 1924. The museum has several educational galleries, which house a range of temporary exhibitions and workshops in heritage trades, such as blacksmithing, stonemasonry, calligraphy, and creative bookmaking. • Highly recommend the cobb and co museum we spent a lot of time here as there is so much to do. Lots of interesting history, a real work shop and the energy display keeps everyone keen to linger plus there is a nice cafe for when you need to refuel.
  • Worth a visit. The tour guide is knowledgible, the front desk lady was so nice and the lovely horse and cart exhibits are incredible. Amazing how we used to travel.
