Cobb+Co Museum, Toowoomba

4.5
See Australia’s finest collection of horse-drawn vehicles at Cobb+Co Museum, housing over 50 drays, sulkies, buggies, and farm wagons that tell the story of European settlement in this part of the country. Displays of elaborate Phaeton, Victoria, and Landau carriages give a glimpse of a slower-paced life. Don’t miss the exhibit of the original Cobb and Co coaches, including the last coach that ran from Yuleba to Surat in 1924. The museum has several educational galleries, which house a range of temporary exhibitions and workshops in heritage trades, such as blacksmithing, stonemasonry, calligraphy, and creative bookmaking. • Very good and will be taking other grandchildren when they visit. Grandson today remarked on how much he liked his visit and wants to go back. Well done.
  • Overstayed my time I found it so interesting. Should have allowed more time to see the detail. Will try and get back ASAP. Thank you for the experience. Good work. Dave Render
  • Great place to visit very educational, my Down syndrome daughter enjoyed it, lots of things to do for young ones. Plus a cafe with great food
  • Well worth a visit on your trip to Toowoomba. Great selection of Cobb+Co memorabilia and good displays of traditional arts and crafts. Allocate yourself 1.5 hours to see the exhibitions. They also have tours. We caught the 2:30pm one.
  • Excellent museum with great tour guide. So thankful for skilled craftsmen doing renovations.
