Cobb+Co Museum, Toowoomba

(4.5/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
See Australia’s finest collection of horse-drawn vehicles at Cobb+Co Museum, housing over 50 drays, sulkies, buggies, and farm wagons that tell the story of European settlement in this part of the country. Displays of elaborate Phaeton, Victoria, and Landau carriages give a glimpse of a slower-paced life. Don’t miss the exhibit of the original Cobb and Co coaches, including the last coach that ran from Yuleba to Surat in 1924. The museum has several educational galleries, which house a range of temporary exhibitions and workshops in heritage trades, such as blacksmithing, stonemasonry, calligraphy, and creative bookmaking.
