Our Tamar Valley Discovery tour includes wine tastings at 3 to 4 cellar doors, a generous menu lunch with wine at a restaurant or a fresh produce platter at a vineyard cellar door. We also have a gin distillery tasting option. Our wine tours are fully inclusive and have repeatedly been awarded excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. We increase wine tasting pleasure by telling the backstory of the region, it’s vineyards and winemakers. Our group size is usually 8 guests or less with solo travellers and groups welcome. Lying in the Tamar Valley and surrounded by forested hills, the grid-patterned city of Launceston boasts shaded avenues, vibrant street life, and a cosmopolitan atmosphere. An important shipping and trade hub since the late 19th century, the city also possesses some fine examples of late colonial architecture, while the more modern "Brutalist" style is relatively rare. Take a look at our Australia trip builder to refine the details of your trip to Launceston.
