Australian movie! True story, Van Demons Land about escape from sarah island penal settlement in 1822. All about the history of the time. Well worth watching. :-)
Crazy how convicts built the islands foundations with blue gums. Hospitable environment for human habitation but very beautiful.
Crazy place. Lots of history still there. Sarah island may not be as well known but it is well worth knowing and seeing.
