  • In this park for the first time seen wombats. They come very close and can be very hard racing. Kangaroos and wallabies are very curious and like to see in the evening. The beach is beautiful. You can walk for hours without someone. There are various activities organized to get acquainted with nature. The park Rangers are friendly. The campsite is located in a large field, which makes the sunset in the evening. A true spectacle.

  • Was Wombat purpose we arrived was around 16:00 evening. The first good look at where you weren't in the visitor center from the parking lot to understand I don't know. Never meet in person, but only two cars in the parking lot. Because it was written instructions to buy tickets for the National Park Center closed at the entrance to fill out registration money envelopes into an unattended box, paid. Maintained trails to walk and Bush had Bennett Wallaby here and there. There were many bird travelers there is a pond. No less will be dark. Access is by car or an inconvenient but, seen in the evening, lots of Wombat. It is however better walking Board of the cradle and nothing appears worn hiking boots or waterproof shoes. There are also excited and too close to the Wombats for children, attacking is suspicious. Naught Bush children to mother Wombat and attacking without knowing cute family to him and snap a picture, watch and ran to us, have been threatened. Understand and I graze quietly open her mouth like a alien is kind of scary. It took quite some time until I see a Wombat and plays too much, because the wetlands back to the parking was difficult. May deepest zubuzubu and legs are taken is important. Came out especially at the entrance to gate or not night 7:00 too much. Then came here to stay is reserved for you (on the way we are headed from Launceston to cradle it) port Soleil are close and the arrival was pitch black. Might be a seasonal thing may in narawntapu night by six thin, after 7 p.m. and suddenly became dark.

  • The camping facilities are OK - not great but adequate. Stay somewhere else - no shops for 30km. The walks are best if you know what to look for before you go, many details are small but wonderful. As...  more »
