  • Do you like the smaller winery? Do you enjoy talking to the owner/winemaker? Do you like great wine? Well this the winery for you.

  • Barossa & Light Cab Service rate Kabminye Wines 5 out of 5 stars, because we buy our wine here ourselves. Rick, the wine-maker is often around to share about the wines and his wine-making career. Kabminye Wines is renowned for using rare and unusual grape varieties and Rick is known for his wine-making integrity. Barossa & Light Cab Service like the family history here in that Rick started making wine in the 1970’s, when he made a silver medal winning claret using his father-in-law’s grapes. The cellar door provides a great intimate and relax setting, and with the good old fashioned Barossa hospitality that is on offer here, combined with the wines, this is a winner! Be sure to drop in here the next time you are in the Barossa.
  • Rick (the owner) was on hand to tell me all about the wines and how they were made. Some really unique varieties I haven't seen elsewhere.
