  • We were very lucky to visit on a warm, sunny day and sat out on the lawn. The view over the valley was a novalist dream to write about. We were there for lunch. i recommend the tasting platters, so mu...  more »
  • The cellar is in a beatiful location. There is a section where you can sit and admire the view while sipping a wine. Being Grant Burge expect to pay for premium wine.  more »
  • This is a well established winery, you won't get disappointed but you won't be amazed either. Sits on the top of a small hill so don't forget to enjoy the view of the valley.  more »

  • Helpful staff and excellent wines to be enjoyed. The fortified wines (ports) were particularly good. Had a mixed platter and a cheese platter both filled with very tasty food sourced from local producers. Considering it was meant to be a quick stop....nekminit.....14 bottles purchased and lunch! We will be going back too.
  • Great service and great bubbles! Rae did a great job with the tasting and selling to us .. even cheap me!!! You had me at 'special deal'!!
  • Doing so well they can turn away people. Group of 15 in a small rented bus so we could travel together arrives. Didn't even get out of the bus before being told we couldn't come in. After suggesting we come back in our cars they didn't seem to have an issue with that idea. So we left. And went to Jacobs Creek and had an awesome time and atmosphere. Give Mr Burge a miss and enjoy the Jacobs Creek and Chateu Dorrien wine experience. They were incredible.
  • Very disappointing. A bus load of happy, ready to spend customers turned away as we came in a bus for convenience and a great day out together, not in separate cars. A significant loss of income for the winery, a significant disappointment for all of their potential customers, and a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. On to the rest of the wonder of the Barossa Valley...
  • Grant Burge have some nice wines available. The cafe was lovely and served up a nice platter lunch.
