  • This place is a little unassuming but you must go in and try the Rose. I guarantee you will love it! Staff are great also.
  • The best wine of the wineries I visited in the Barrossa. I haven't had such good food in years. If you skip Charles Melton you're missing out.
  • We spent a long afternoon on the grass and verandah outside the Charles Melton cellar door tasting their iconic wines; Grains of Paradise, Voices of Angels & Nine Popes and tasting their locally sourc...  more »

  • Outstanding! Had a delightful lunch which was reasonably priced. Staff were wonderful. Nine Popes wine is highly recommended. Better than most commercial wineries. A very memorable visit that exceeded my expectations. August 13 2016.
  • Barossa & Light Cab Service recommend Charles Melton Wines as a "must do" destination for 5 out of 5 wines, and a great lunch experience. We have eaten here and loved it! We rate the "Nine Popes" and "The Father in Law" as great wine products which showcase the Barossa region. And we bring customers here on wine tour as much as we can. Keep up the great work Charles Melton!
  • Great food and delicious wine. Definitely worth visiting
  • Service wasn't the best, or we just got a lady that was rude and not helpful. My friend was asking about wines for her wedding and asked to some again and it was a chore by the way she acted.
  • Fantastic place to stay and the wines are the best. Totally recommend
