  • Amazing private collection of contemporary Chinese artworks. The space is fantastic and the commentary interesting. Great selection of different teas in the cafe.
  • An excellent art gallery, one of the best I've been to in Sydney. It's just the right size too; not too big that it takes hours to see everything, but not so small that it feels like a wasted trip. Conveniently located right near Central station, and has free entry and free guided tours too! Visited during the Heavy Artillery exhibition: The art is mostly all by Chinese artist, however it is all contemporary art, not Chinese art. The inspiration and meaning behind the art pieces is deeper and more meaningful than most other galleries, as the description of each is well written and gets you to think about different issues. Very enjoyable and recommended. There is a lovely tea house/cafĂ© attached to the gallery that matches the theme of the gallery. There is a decent range of nice Chinese tea, however they serve it western style with a small amount of leaves in lots of water and few infusions; no traditional gongfu tea here. They had nice smelling dumplings too, but I refused to try it as chicken was the only meat option; where is the pork? There is also a small library on the top floor! It is cosy and full of books on art. Overall a very good experience, if you have an hour or two to kill in the city you could go here. But it is also nice enough for a dedicated day trip too.
  • A short walk from Central Station in Sydney takes you to this excellent art gallery with exhibitions of 21st century Chinese contemporary art. I highly recommend you to visit.
  • Impressive collection of art pieces in a light-filled atmosphere, staffs are friendly and knowledgeable, and the tea selections are tasteful. I would love to return and spend some time there any day.
  • a must see gallery in sydney that has free entry. wonderful modern chinese art over multiple levels from paintings, sculptures, installations and films.
