  • Huge mall with all brands available. The food court has almost all cuisines . We chose North Indian flavour. Samosas were big and tasty and tea was good.  more »

  • A huge place, underground, overground, it seems to be that down under of Sydney is a huge shopping mall. Quite expensive. But a rainy day can lead to some buying options. Comparable with Macy‘s in Man...  more »

  • The best shopping you can aspire for if your pockets are well stuffed with money (otherwise you can wait for that time and meanwhile go window shopping). It gets better and better as you climb up the floors. Huge offer of great food at the various food courts, there's something for any budget. Tempting!
  • Excellent Mall. Very centrally located. In the heart of the city. Heaps of brands for shopping and heaps of eating joints. Very nice food court with all kinds of options from Indian, Chinese and fast food. Overall, five stars for Westfield, Sydney.
  • Pro-tip: There's an express escalator to the top Food Court from Pitt St Mall on ground/street level. It's great to avoid having to walk through the shops just to get to the food outlets, I only wish they had an express going back down to Pitt Street mall, but it's obviously no mistake to have left that out of the design to make you walk through the whole building to get out. Anyway, still a great shopping centre.
  • It's quite hard to review this Westfield properly. On one hand they did a great job considering how restrictive it was to smash together multiple old malls into one functional group. On the other hand it's one of the most claustrophobic destinations. It's only at higher levels with the food court or even the office lobbies that it opens up.
  • Too huge. There were several times I was almost lost inside. The mall has a lot of shops, but all of them are classy and exotic. Not a place a person on a budget would go to.

Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.
