Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.

  • Perfect destination on a day off and so worth the park entrance fee (you actually safe money since you don't pay for parking within the park). Great views from the lookout and prefect to reach by car or road bike!
  • Being in the National Park the view is spectacular from the lookout. Along the way are various walks that you can go on and Aboriginal rock engravings 400 metres from one of the car parks which are still in excellent condition. Will go on one of the walks and advise later.
  • Absolutely gorgeous spot. Ideal for walks, picnics. Crystal clear water. Stunning is an understatement. Absolutely magical!
  • Spectacular lookout point! You can even see the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. The drive to get here is a bit long but the view is worth the effort. Not to be missed.
  • One of many incredible lookouts in the Sydney area. This spot feels more secluded because it is in a National Park.
