The Gap Park, Sydney
(4.5/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Warm yellow-colored sheer cliffs and crashing waves dominate the view from The Gap Park. Walk along the scenic cliff top and enjoy the views of Tasman Sea and ships leaving Sydney Harbour. Notice the water dragons hiding among the granite rocks and Pacific Gulls, which use the area as nesting site. Go for a fish meal at a local restaurant, perhaps even one were Alfred Hitchcock was a patron during his visit in 1960s. • This is a highlight in Sydney. Here you can go by car or by ferry. It is located at the Harbour entrance or exit to the open sea. Very nice area, great trail and close to nice restaurants

  • Love this place. It's secluded, it's a tourist spot, but also small enough so there is no congestion. Great views. My dad knows every place. But I took him here and he loved it. Also Coogee. These are...  more »
  • I made the trek to Watsons Bay and went through beautiful places such as Signal Hill Reserve, Don Ritchie Grove Park and Gap Bluff Park or The Gap Park already arriving in Watsons Bay, a morning of Sun and this is an unmissable attraction with a super structure of bathrooms, water fountains, beautiful stone walls with an intense blue sea downstairs and a cement sidewalk super suitable for this route and beautiful lighthouses nautical signalling.
