3.9/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Sitting opposite the Queen Victoria building is Sydney Town Hall, one of Australia's grandest surviving buildings, and a stunning example of 19th-century sandstone architecture. You can take photos of the impressive interior and exterior: The details on the roof are particularly striking. The clock, which is illuminated at night, was built in 1883. Once nicknamed The Wedding Cake Building, the building features ornate carvings, beautiful stained-glass windows, and a pipe organ that is the largest in the southern hemisphere. • KOBAN located near underground station from here you want to recommend to take the Asian food store. When I got tired of serving Australia, hotel has returned to eat is recommended. Chose the rice dishes, also available as lunch. Large dumplings, japchae was delicious. I think so many of japchae was in a small cup, big Cup pick on the small people. Only cash is accepted but useless, so be careful. (Also, in the next Super welcoming Japan produce many. )

  • This is a beautiful building. It is exceptionally lit up at night. Great for photographers.
  • Amazing hall. Have been to many events here and all of them have been very good. The location and architecture certainly add to the experience.
  • Tour operate every Tuesday or sometimes Wednesday. It takes about two hours. It's worth to take it. You can take a look back stage and history of its building. Also free concert of organ is held once a month,Monday. Except Christmas season, they changed small amount of money. The concert is so wonderful that you wouldn't be able to believe it's free. This event is highly recommended.
  • Beautiful building with lots of history and worth a visit to see. I went to a conference here, however and due to the shape and how old the building is its not every suited for it. I would recommend a conference at another place.
  • another beautiful old building in sydney.
