Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.

  • Beautiful from the outside, though not "grand". Was lit up for Vivid Sydney in my photo.
  • Lovely old church near the rocks. Has a good cafe too.
  • St. Patrick Church has a lot of mass times from daily mass to sunday mass, really helpful for Catholic community in near Sydney CBD to pray here. I'm also love the St. Mary mini chapel beside the Church, there is a few of chairs so we can sit down and enjoy silent moments here
  • Great services offered during weekdaya for employed catholics.
  • The Liturgy is very meaningful and the church was a very welcoming atmosphere, especially for the homeless and the migrants. Great opportunities a single to further adult learning both within the church and at the Acquinas Academy next door.
