  • Great location to explore and find shade while running, not to mention the stunning views of the harbour with the Opera House just around the corner- so close!  more »
  • This is a lovely place to visit! Gorgeous plants and views. We have been twice and I'm still not sure we have seen everything! Great venue for NYE at the Calyx.  more »

  • What a beautiful place to visit! There were so many different places and gardens to visit. One visit is not enough. There were lots of people about enjoying themselves. The trail to the Sydney Opera house offered beautiful views of the harbor. Trails were clearly marked and provided estimated walking times. The grounds were well maintained and not a single piece of litter to be found anywhere.
  • Beautiful gardens in the most beautiful city in the world. Great for lunch time runs. The paths are wide enough for runners and walkers to share. Amazing harbour views as well as city views, water views and of course garden views. Shady areas and drinking fountains in the Summer. Open areas with sunlight in winter. Free to use for all.
  • I love this park. Living in the city can feel very busy so this is a welcome escape that almost feels like you're way out of town. In certain parts you can be lucky enough meet up with friendly cockatoos or find flying foxes sleeping in the day. There are also possums and I even encountered a very large rat that was so used to humans it really wasn't bothered by my presence. I loved coming to this place just to sit and relax
  • Very large park with many interesting species of trees and other plants. Fountains and pools with fun wildlife including freaky eels. Nice walk when the humidity isn't crazy. Right next to the Sydney Opera House. Great views of the harbor. Some cafes for snacks and drinks. Good for a stroll.
  • Been going there new year day for many years and i am still amazed at the beauty of the place. Can’t get enough of it. if you haven’t been there - you have missed something important in your life! Evening and nights are equally good. Plenty of paid parking but worth every penny.
