Discover the capital city’s rich history at the iconic Parliament House. This complex of landmark buildings includes a two-level Georgian-style building, the oldest public building in the city, and two Neo-Gothic additions containing the parliamentary chambers. The oldest part of the complex was first built to house a wing of a new city hospital, which was largely financed by a monopoly on rum imports (prompting the locals to call it the "Rum Hospital") and completed in 1816. Massively rebuilt in the 1980s, several of the main building’s interior chambers were restored to their original appearance from the 19th century. Time your visit for one of the site’s regular Open Days, when visitors are allowed to wander freely through its many hallways and chambers.   • Look at from the outside was that beckoned, I was taking photos, so I went and put anyone. Baggage inspection and into free swimming was. In Japan-language brochures, was good. Just too see what was no.
