  • The swimming pool is located in the northern part of Sydney bridge Harbr bridge and Luna Park. Get to the swimming pool you can take a ferry from Sydney Opera House to pass the bridge and go down to the pool on the opposite side of the bridge or take the Metro to Milson point. Entrance fee is 8 Australian dollars. Swimming pool is open daily from 5-30 to 9:00 pm from Monday to Friday and from 7 to 7:00 pm in Saturday and Sunday. Visit the pool on time is not limited. Change clothes and leave things can be in a locker that is locked when lowering the 2 dollar coins, which when opening a locker will not be returned and will need to close the locker again put 2 dollar. Around the pool there are plenty of benches, so customers not to spend money on wardrobe change in the dressing room, where there is also a shower and leave things on benches around the pool. In the pool area there is also a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a café. If you wish, after visiting the pool, you can go to an amusement park, which is located next to the pool.

  • Such an epic pool to swim in, still has the old late 1930's look, 50 metre pool kept at 25 degrees is salt water mixed with chloride. View of the bridge is absolutely stunning, don't think there is another Olympic size pool anywhere with a view like that. As a tourist a must visit if you like swimming, easy to walk the bridge after and visit the Rocks.
  • Great outdoor 50m pool but it's showing its age - rather grungy, very basic facilities, pay for hot water.
  • An Australian classic. Right on Sydney Harbour, great view of the Bridge, big saltwater swimming pool. Love they've kept the original (daggy) feel.
  • Perhaps my inputs a tad dated... lol But Awwwwwwwwwwwwww :D The wonderful childhood memories of riding the old 'Red Rattlers' from the Eastern Suburbs' across the Sydney Harbour Bridge on our way this this awesome icon of ours. Great times & around 40 years later I can only look back & smile at it all. Even remember having been there the day that Shane Gould was seen there. :D
  • The location is absolutely stunning, it's a cheap way to take in the harbour while relaxing in an historic facility! Unfortunately the pool isn't very easy to navigate, friendlier staff and better signage, lighting and maintenance would help. Also the water is extremely salty and has a high concentration of chlorine as well - really stung my eyes and mouth, would not recommend lap swimming without goggles.

Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.
