  • Absolutely spectacular views of the harbour bridge and Opera House, as well as various boats cruising the harbour. Was lucky enough to see a tall ship, the James Craig, cruise by. Lovely Italian food and fabulous service, can be a bit noisy and busy but definitely worth it.
  • Ripples never fails to deliver. The food is first class, reasonably priced and served with a backdrop to one of the world's most beautiful harbours. The staff are always smiling delivering service that is second to none. Well worth going over the bridge for!
  • Food was nothing special. Service was good and waiter was friendly.. view obviously is amazing
  • POOR FOOD WITH A MILLION DOLLAR VIEW ! Entrée started with "zucchini flowers," very underwhelming, basically battered deep fried & no flavour. Calamari fritti, again lathered in battered with very little calamari to taste. Main was undercooked rigatoni pasta with seafood, more like a marinara mix which was purchased from your local grocery store. Napolitana sauce was non existent, in its place was an almost orange in colour oil which sat on the bottom of the plate. My local pub does better pasta than this. Overall very average experience, would not recommend.
  • Manager was dismissive and rude. They kept an empty table on the waterfront that we weren’t able to sit at because of a pre-booking (we were there for 1.5hrs & it was empty!). Took 20 mins to order drinks. Order was wrong and they forgot things. Took another 30 mins to order food. A total let down for what should be a special, warm and well-run restaurant.

Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.
