  • I went to market city about 15 years ago and the atmosphere then was small shops many of them and lot of variety. It had the look of a continental market. Now it has turned into an enterprise. Just retail shops and no bargaining to be had. Liked the old market style. This is now a shopping centre.
  • Market city is structured with a shopping centre on top of a flea-market (Paddy Market), thus offering two distinct shopping experience. The shopping centre is air-conditioned with less than desirable varieties of shops compared to other alternatives of the same size. Though it is equipped with multicultural food courts, with plentiful of options for different cultural delicacies. The Paddy market below offers a flea-market styled shopping experience packed with stores selling a huge variety of goods with comparatively cheaper price. The huge range include clothing, shoes, jewelries, painting, rugs, antiques, grocery, sea foods and plenty others. The down side is that the place is always crowded and could get really warm and stuffy during hot summer. I often find myself soon searching for an exit when I visit Paddy's during summer. It could actually feel frustrating when you urges to get out but find it difficult due to the crowded space.
  • Has really fallen downhill since a few years ago. Good for phone cases, but they will fall apart pretty quickly. Always ask for a cheaper price. Would be worth going if you haven't been before but I won't be returning for a while
  • At night, you can still drive bumper cars in playtime on the top level, win tickets and come away with glow in the dark fidget spinners! This is a great shopping centre in the daytime too, you can spend all day exploring this gigantic building. 😊
  • If you've never been before it is worth while to check it out. Great range of shops and always sales on. I got lucky with 50% off top brand sunglasses. Good location and the mall itself is always reasonably clean
