Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.

  • Great tasting chocolate. Pretty busy store, can get crowded quickly. Big selection.
  • Gourmet chocolate shop with fair-trade Australian made chocolate - pricey, but delicious and a great last minute gift option ~
  • An artisan chocolate shop, still not as famous nor as fancy as Lindt's; but their staff is more helpful and attentive. Their chocolate are yummy too. A bit dear than average, but actually quite cheap for its quality. The shop is a bit small, hence easily get crowded.
  • A family favourite during Easter. The hot cross bun exclusive and chocolate almond are always a safe bet! A too sweet for a lot of people though, so eat in portions and with water or beverage of choice nearby.
  • Too sweet for my tastes. Other chocolate stores nearby have a more balanced selection.
