What a wonderful playground! My 7 and 9yo boys really loved it. They played hard for 3 hours, never got bored, barely stopped for food, and didn't want to leave. Wonderful range of equipment, includin... read more »

Wow! What a play ground in the middle of the Sydney CBD! Many councils can be jealous of this! Seeing kids running in their bathers and nappies playing with the water was fantastic! Great for very you... read more »
multi-award-winning playground designed for 'acceptable risk' so tiny kids even in nappies delight in splashing and play in water that is never more than 2" deep, and amazingly tiny girls see others do it, then climb purposefully to the top of a 30' high rope pyramid - they feel on top of the world when they get there - I've even seen a kid fall from near the top, bounce off the next rope down, catch himself and continue on without concern - THAT'S a good design ! The other amazing thing is unless it 's unpleasant weather (cold/rain) it will be busy even late at night - and the only time I've ever seen the rope pulley flying fox empty was when it was raining and only one family was playing around - I told the kids - 'hey - rare opportunity - the flying fox is free !' - they screamed with delight and rushed off to use it. Enjoy.
Child friendly, and across from a McDonald's, as well as various other restaurants and cafes. The IMAX theatre is nearby, as well as the aquarium, wildlife park and Madame Tussauds. It is in the middle of a business park and there are a lot of corporate employees walking around. The park is almost always crowded, so do not bring your kids here if they are overwhelmed at large crowds.
The water part of this playground is always full of happy children, so they must be doing something right. Close to the McDonald's though, so you run the risk of being asked to stop there as well.
Great playground, especially if your kids love to play with water ... quite crowded and load sometimes, yet a nice place. Plenty of cafés around to grab a drink.
Kids didn't want to leave. Great fun and educational too. Just watch the little ones around the waterways, guaranteed wet feet or more.
