Widely regarded as the jewel of Sydney Harbor, Camp Cove features white sands and tranquil waters favored by swimmers, snorkelers, and divers. The beach overlooks a stretch of water facing the central business district’s skyline. There’s also a raised promenade on the beach, which offers additional vantage points ideal for watching the sunset or photographing the city. Several food kiosks operate right on the sand, but you can also visit a number of nearby restaurants, famous for their fish and chips. This area is a significant historic site, with a number of indigenous rock engravings of whales and fish. I stumbled upon this beach while walking from Watson to Rose Bay. This is such a nice little beach with a great view of the city in the distance. Definitely worth a visit!

So off the beaten track, cosy little beach in the Harbour, near Watson's Bay. Good for a bit of snorkeling too. Very suitable for families with kids.
