Bar 333, Sydney

At the bottom, is looks like an ordinary pub, but upstairs, it is more high class. The food is delicious, the beer on tap has all the favourite. The lounges are great for Friday night drinks or on a date and you want to sit close to your partner. The service is friendly at the counter and they clear the glasses very quickly.

When I walked in it's laid out in a restaurant plan and coming in here for just drinks makes this a bit intimidating. Being one of the standard spots on George St to visit I quiet enjoyed my first trip to this bar. I will be back if I'm every in need of a starting point to the Ivy.

I would recommend Bar 333 if you're after somewhere to catch up with friends or work colleagues after work in the CBD. Great central location with drinks at reasonable prices. The food is nothing too fancy - the bar food does the trick to satisfy a rumbling stomach. It gets quite noisy and rowdy on a Saturday night, especially upstairs - so don't go here if you're planning a quiet night out, but a good place to check out if you're after somewhere a bit lively.

Split between two levels this bar is a worthy spot to have a beer after work but somewhat cramped. The low roof downstairs means it is loud and stuffy. Upstairs is so very different you would have thought you were at a different bar with better service, views and atmosphere. I up stairs area is the worth heading strait to and avoid the downstairs area that contains the pokies and pool table. Food is far better than expected and the salt and pepper squid fantastic.
