Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.

  • So much history, such knowledgeable staff, beautiful grounds! I am not a military person nor do I have military relatives, but this memorial surely touched my heart.  more »

  • nice architecture. there's a cool artillery statue close by as well
  • In winter I occasionally like basking in the midday sun that drenches the steps of the memorial (looking to North across the water feature). It is a great way to recharge the batteries.
  • A very beautiful memorial for all those brave soldiers who sacrificed all more than 100 years ago. May we never forget.
  • Beautiful Monument for a great group of lads and ladies that served.
  • It is very peaceful place to sit on and lay your back on the grass to enjoy heaven atmosphere.
