Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.

  • Awesome as always. Best Sydney stadium. Was in the corporate sponsors box but they were actually to far up from the field to even see the game properly.
  • Saw the Adele concert at ANZ stadium. Despite there being 95,000 people there, the place seemed to handle the crowds OK. Entry to the stadium was without much delay and no issues with crowded restroom facilities as they seems quite a few. Train station very close by and convenient. Exiting the venue with 95,000 others was without issue and trains managed to move the masses better than I hoped or expected.
  • Great seating options. Well set out. Accommodates large number of people. Food is overpriced and only average quality.
  • Pretty good facilities and atmosphere in this stadium.. If you can get yourself into the members section, you're in for a treat. A nice selection of full strength beers and good food up there..
  • As far as large stadiums go, ANZ had great crowd management, sight lines, ingress/egress and transportation access. There were also lots of bars nearby. No complaints whatsoever.
