Where to stay in Sydney

Sydney offers visitors hundreds of lodging options in its central area, with choices suitable for most budgets. As expected in a major tourist destination, harbor views play a major role in determining room prices. Expect to pay more for ocean-view suites, especially if you visit at the peak of the tourist season or around big city events. If you don't need to stay in the center of Sydney, consider budget-friendly hotels near the airport, or look for smaller roadside motels in the city's South West neighborhood.

  • One of my favourite stadiums to watch sport. You really feel like you are part of the action and can almost smell the liniment on the players as they take the field. Parking is usually done on the grassy area beside the stadium plus their are lots of buses that go past the stadium and its a short 200 metre walk.
  • Great views of the pitch just about anywhere in the building. Like nearly every stadium I've been to, it has unbearably slow concession lines. It was simple to get in and out at either end of the game, and the new large screen at one end is so big it's actually distracting. But it's by no means a modern stadium, and the seats aren't terribly comfortable either. A fun time out with the family when we went to watch the Socceroos.
  • I always enjoy going to watch a game at the SFS. Whether it be football or Rugby League it has a good atmosphere and you get a good view no matter where you sit. Getting to the ground is easy and there is plenty of entertainment and places to go before and after the games.
  • I liked the staff who took us around to show the place.he was extremely proud of it and I respect his love for his passion demonstrated.
  • Best stadium we have. Any politician that mentions demolishing it will go to hell. Record crowd attendance Anzac Day 2017.
