  • En route to Freycinet, we drove past this area and decided to stop us intrigued by two panels arranged on the road titled "Oysters / Tapas". Curiosity and the pretty location in height of Milton's Vineyard we have pushed up the small hill which gives access to the property from the road. And great surprise, in addition to good wines and a superb opportunity to taste dishes prepared by a young French chef, Sophie, a native of the Landes. Dishes at reasonable prices ($ 15-25) taste the wines of the area. Very good rose (we are Provencal and rather difficult on this chapter) and delicious dishes also nicely presented and decorated we wish good things to Sophie, quite affable and smiling, and has just begin. When we asked him to recommend a restaurant on Freycinet (40 km away) where we were leaving for the weekend, she said with a smile that she was the best cook in the sector. I had no idea how she was right because other landscapes and nature atmosphere, restoring is overpriced and a very average quality (except oysters and seafood fortunately).

  • Was very disappointed by the service, we were 3 ppl, went for the wine tasting, on a not busy afternoon, the guy in the celler only give us 1 glass for tasting. I can't understand why is that.
  • Wines were OK. Very cold inside and could do a lot more with the atmosphere
