Categories: Hiking Trails, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Discover more than 150 wineries, breweries, restaurants, shops, and cafés along the scenic Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail, which winds around this verdant region for over 32 km (20 mi). Stop along the sign-posted driving trail to visit more than 50 seasonal fruit stalls, which sell fresh local produce, such as asparagus and melons. This fertile valley is known for large wine producers and numerous small wineries, microbreweries, and rum distilleries. The region’s specialized food producers, many of which you can visit as you travel along the trail, supply over 80 fine restaurants with the freshest fruits and vegetables available throughout the year. Remember that many places in the valley only receive guests during the weekends, so phone ahead or check online for available visiting times.
