Surfer's Paradise Beach, Surfers Paradise

4.6
With a name like Surfer's Paradise Beach, you know the waves here have to be pretty good. The town beach for the Gold Coast City suburb of Surfer's Paradise offers 3 km (1.85 mi) of golden sand. Give surfing a shot on the gentle breaks here or ride bigger waves if you're more experienced. This is also one of the most popular places for beach volleyball in Australia--join a social game if you're up for making some local friends. If you're here at night on Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday, shop for crafts and vintage items from more than 100 stalls at the free Beachfront Markets. • Australia is filled with stunning beaches and this is no exception. It provides a prominent view of Gold Coast's skyline. The beach itself is stretched far meaning you can keep walking across it from suburb to suburb uninterrupted. Though keep in mind, it's a beach. You're gonna get sand all over yourself so come prepared. It's one of the most iconic sites of Gold Coast. However, there are far more greater things to see and do while in Gold Coast.
  • This beach is not only Paradise for Surfers but also Paradise for tourists, sightseeing, foodies, walkers... list goes on... beach is clean, refreshing, pleasant and relaxing place. It is crowded beach. Well organized with restrooms, beach facing tables and statues/pictures about this beach history.
  • Amazing views, softest sands, so much to do. Pristine beach that stretch long. Thinkers, tourists, pets each may find their ideal spots without having to feel stifled by each other. Surfing lessons, great food selection, a Woolworths, birds hanging out casually by. What's not to like?
  • What an amazing place...the whole surfers paradise walk in magical...the view, the waves and everything is something you will fall in love with... We had a family holiday for a week and enjoyed the street markets, restaurant and alot of great activities...
  • Great beach. Great place. Locals are alright, though you'll find them elsewhere. Tourists everywhere affecting the ecosystem. See it, enjoy it - then find a totally different beach to chill on. Unless you want your bag nicked, or to have sand kicked in your face by an International.
