Surfers Paradise Beach, Surfers Paradise

With a name like Surfers Paradise Beach, you know the waves here have to be pretty good. The town beach for the Gold Coast City suburb of Surfer's Paradise offers 3 km (1.85 mi) of golden sand. Give surfing a shot on the gentle breaks here or ride bigger waves if you're more experienced. This is also one of the most popular places for beach volleyball in Australia--join a social game if you're up for making some local friends. If you're here at night on Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday, shop for crafts and vintage items from more than 100 stalls at the free Beachfront Markets. • Love the Sun, the water, and the golden sand. What more can one ask while on holiday?
  • Well known world famous beach. So magnificent. Very broad, great for spring and summer. Very pretty beach with a lot of eateries nearby.
  • We visited Surfer's Paradise and stayed at the Wyndham Surfer's Paradise - only a couple blocks away from the Beach. The Beach is a very fine sand - quite pleasant with normally minimal waves. The Beach is more of a beginners beach as the waves aren't huge. It is a lovely place to lounge and run on the beach (my favourite) as the shoreline is quite flat where it meets the water. A few jellyfish can be found but I understand they are not the type that stings and they are not a problem swimming. The bottom is all sand - no stones!
  • May 2017 love this place nice beach. nice views. so good what makes you really think to move to here and live here. everything is close and the beach isn't crazy busy
  • Yeah it’s the world famous beautiful beach most of the world would be envious of , Clean clear water, some of the best surfing beaches in the world. full of spectacular high rise apartments hotels glitzy shopping to tacky tourist traps. Accept it for the plastic fantastic glamour that it is and you will have a lot of fun in a great holiday destination stretched out along clean clear beautiful beaches.
