Beach
With a name like Surfer's Paradise Beach, you know the waves here have to be pretty good. The town beach for the Gold Coast City suburb of Surfer's Paradise offers 3 km (1.85 mi) of golden sand. Give surfing a shot on the gentle breaks here or ride bigger waves if you're more experienced. This is also one of the most popular places for beach volleyball in Australia--join a social game if you're up for making some local friends. If you're here at night on Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday, shop for crafts and vintage items from more than 100 stalls at the free Beachfront Markets. • The beach is very nice and very well kept. She is monitored on certain sections and otherwise prohibited for swimming outside the monitored areas (sometimes a bit crowded at the time). You can practice surfing and the surf kyle. The morning she is sunny and shaded the afternoon. It overlooks an area of shops and restaurants, but there are also a few picnic and bbq areas.

  • Are there set to us the whole time to look at a short between stop. The skyline is impressive and the beach is wonderful. In the area of the promenade, there are shops which are designed for tourists. The environment reminds Miami and is nice to look at. My conclusion: a bustling town which one doesn't necessarily need to relax but should've seen.

  • Very commercial. Still a good place for families before 10pm. Crowed beaches in the day but walk up away from crowd and keep within flags.  more »
