TripAdvisor
  • Great, informative, free short lecture on history of Tassie forestry. Well worth visiting and buying some reasonably priced (read much cheaper than Salamanca markets) Huon pine carved products
  • A short but informative story on more of the Mill history. Good to watch after your river cruise, but lost more info gained on the cruise of course. Still - worth staying around for.
  • The presenter was wearing a mic, but still difficult to hear her, it was interesting though, and we did learn there is no such wood as Tassie Oak, it is all eucalypt, who knew!
